Help me, I cannot hear well!
It is a fact that unfortunately many people suffer from hearing losses. One in every twenty people is estimated to struggle with some kind of hearing problem. Well, the good news is that there is remedy for this.
Hearing problems have more serious consequences than you might think. If you cannot hear well you will become isolated; you will miss out on conversations, you will be reluctant to start or receive phone calls, and you'd rather ask someone else to look after daily issues that require personal contact. It is even more important for children to hear well; the ones living with some kind of hearing problem will fall behind the others at school, and it will be harder for them to socialise. There are many different reasons which may result in hearing loss.
Perhaps sounds cannot reach the inside of the ear. Or they can reach it but the inner ear cannot percieve them. And it can also happen that the nerves running to the brain have been damaged, and therefore you cannot hear the sounds.
These reasons root in a number of different issues: diseases, accidents or genetic disorders. Depending on the reasons and symptoms you can consult medical professionals to find the best possible solution for you.
